HOW TO REMOVE BLACKBERRY 10 ANTI THEFT PROTECTION (Blackberry id BB10)

In this brief guide, I’ll be explaining how to bypass or remove the Anti-theft protection on your Blackberry 10 device in case you never set such or you forgot your login credentials. The Anti-theft protection is a security feature which is meant to help you track, block or wipe your Blackberry 10 device if it gets lost or stolen

Disclaimer! This guide assumes the device in question is not stolen. You are entirely responsible for whatever you do with this piece of information.

With the release of BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.2, your privacy and security are further enhanced with the introduction of Anti-Theft Protection within BlackBerry Protect.

Provided you have confirmed your BlackBerry ID, Anti-Theft Protection associates your BlackBerry ID with your device, and provides you with the ability to disable your device using a new Flag as Stolen option.

When used, Flag as Stolen will erase your device memory and disable your device, unless the BlackBerry ID which was used to setup the device originally with Anti-Theft Protection, is entered on the device.

In other words, unless your device is returned to you, no one else will be able to setup the device again since they do not know your BlackBerry ID credentials.

It was said you cant downgrade to 10.3.1 but i was able to discover Q10 10.3.1 that support  all bb10 model with 10.3.2.2639 to downgrade.

 STEPS:
  1.  Flash any of your bb10  with your model autoloader (original bb os for your model) you downloaded Under download (2).
  2. Flash  your blackberry with autoloader Q10_10.3.01.2267_SQN100-1-2-3-4-5.exe  you downloaded.( under download 1)
  3. After that setup your blackberry with your new id and start using your phone or you can factory reset your phone there after if you want.
Note: if relock again after step 3 flash with step 2 and enjoying your blackberry tested with blackberry passport, z10 stl-3, q10,q5  and blackberry classic. Your comment mater  most. if any broken link please report or comment

      you got this problem after the remover of anti theft if yes ( repeat step 2 sing in in you id with WiFi after that do a factory setting and re-flash you bb10 using step 4.

      it will give you error if you do not flash with 10.3.2.2969 of your phone model ..flash with the orginal file i posted the flash with the q10_3.1.—–(reply as soon as possible)

    The Second download is fine for me. The First download has issues. Where exactly are we downloading these files from ? I am always afraid of downloading .exe files, as there maybe virus, malware etc in them. Are we downloading from a trusted and reputed and tested site ? TIA.

    will Q10_10.3.01.2267_SQN100-1-2-3-4-5 Z30_10.3.02.2639_STA100-1-2-3-4-5-6 still work on the BB Classic SQC100 on 10.3.2? Because, I don’t think I had 10.3.2 when I flashed it last week with above files. But now I am on 10.3.2 and I don’t know if i should try it on my phone again without having access to the new files?

    Or are the files the same?

    I still have the above files. I don’t need to remove the anti-theft either. I dont even have it on right now, BUT, for shits, I tried last week with complete success. The only thing I noticed different were my soundcloud and di.fm ALWAYS crashes now, and not once will they run. BUT, then again, I am not 100% sure they were running prior to flash.

    Anyhow, point is, if i go and try those on 10.3.2 and my phone shits, what am i supposed to do to correct it? Or should I not?

    I am trying to help someone with theirs, BUT, I would prefer do it on mine prior? But really don’t want to make a mess of my phone if i don’t have to.. Feel me

      I just realized, did I make a mistake when I did this on my classic? IDK why I have the Z30 file… Did I accidentally flash my classic with the wrong file? Hmm.. weird.. IDK it works. aside from above mentioned.

      Someone please tell me if I made a mistake. I could have sworn I downloaded the Classic SQC100 file, but, evidently I didnt?

      Regardless, those are the two files I listed above I used. I copy pasted from the file name it self. hmm…

    Flash your blackberry with autoloader Q10_10.3.01.2267_SQN100-1-2-3-4-5.exe you downloaded.( under download 1).

    After updating it says your anti theft is on . used that I’d which you used in startup…
    Then will I do same thing again or something else?

    Hi! Did your wonderfull trick and my passport was working fine with the Q10 flash. But I want to upgrade to os 10.3.2.2876. I followed the 3 steps but it is not accepting my ID anti-theft :(((
    As suggested in the comments I retried the steps and before upgrading to the .2876 I installed th e q10 with all my settings and then factory formated. Have tried it sdeveral times and just get stuck with not accepting my ID anymore… Am I stuck with Q10 10.3.1 for ever or can I have hope? What am I missing… any hope?

        When i flash my classic with Z30_10.3.01.2267_STA100-1-2-3-4-5-6 , lock removes and i can enter menu but this is developer rom. I try to flash Q10_10.3.01.2267_SQN100-1-2-3-4-5 it reports wrong model. I restore original latest rom with blackberry link, lock comes again.

        So, i couldn’t figure out how to do this for real. If you can post what i should flash first and second in steps, i would apriciate it. Your tutorial doesn’t seem to work for me.

    I have a Z10 STL100-2 that I bought with other person. But it turns out to be stolen. I totally wiped the device by entering wrong password 10 times and then clean installed Software version 10.3.2.2876 using autoloader but still on the initial setup it asks for Original BBID stating that the anti theft is on.
    Now I don’t want to be in loss so I need to remove the anti theft. Will I be able to do it by following this tutorial? I am seriously in need of help. Should I first flash 10.3.2.2639 to downgrade or can I simply flash the Q10 10.3.1 ??
    Will it really work? I mean seriously??

    hello bro,i hv same problem with my z3 forgot my id and anti theft feature is not allowing me to configure it after a reload. its running on 10.3.2.xxxx.i tried above method but when i run those files after installation the dos program load and quickly quits not allowing me option to plug in my mobile. plz give a solution

    Please help! Iam on passport beta 10.3.3 . and by misteken i deleted my blackberry id associated with mobile. now i created same id with same email but that dsnt work. then i wiped and used atoloder 10.3.3. and now stuck with setup screen with no bbid associated with mobile.Please help.

    method works on my Q10. FYI, is it no longer able to upgrade to 10.3.02 ? after flashing Q10_10.3.01.2267_SQN100-1-2-3-4-5 from download 1 everything is fine, but if I flash back download 2 FW, it locks back to the blackberry ID.
